How to create a new WhoIS record at DynaDot

If you recently moved to a new location or changed your email address then you are required to make these changes on all of your domain names registered with DynaDot. Follow these steps to add a new whois record in dynadot and set that record for your domain.

1. Login to your DynaDot Account

2. Click the "Domains" menu at the top

3. In the blue menu directly below the main menu, click "Contact Records"

4. Click "Create new contact record."

5. Fill in your new contact information and click "Submit"

6. You have now added your new record, now lets set it to use your new record anytime you register a new domain

7. In the same blue menu at the top, click "Advanced Settings"

8. Use the drop down menu to change "Default Contacts" for registrant, admin contact, technical contact, and billing contact

9. Click "Submit," now let's add it to your domain

10. Click the Domain menu at the top again

11. Click on your domain (ex: domain.com)

12. This will bring up the edit page for your domain

13. Use the drop down menu and change Registrant, Admin Contact, Technical Contact, and Billing Contact to your new whois record.

14. Click "Submit" and you have now set your new whois record for your domain. Changes make take upto 24 hours to go through

Now you've done it! You have added a new whois contact record, set it as your default record for new Domain Registration, and changed your current domain(s) to use your new contact information.
